Diana here! I have no published knowledge, please excuse my innocence. I'll try to keep this short and make sure the main points are delivered!
- A $1 can help providing a child's lunch, which probalby is spent anywhere without noticing.
This issue is about the hunger crises at my native country africa. My parents are from Zimbabwe and after a very tough & hard jounery they immigitated to the great America in the 1950. We are really greatful for everything we have the oppurtunity we got here. However, many of our closed neighbours are not previligaed enough to get at least one meal a day.
Facts says. Hunger is rising at an unprecedented pace in Africa. Years of progress are reversing economic woes, famine, and severe weather so that 237 million sub-Saharan Africans are chronically undernourished, more than in any other country. Hunger is faced by 257 million people in Africa, which is 20 percent of the population.
My parents always made sure to help them as much as they can. And they've been donating to the locals since 50 years now. However, after the recent severe weather including flash floods in Manicaland Province, eastern Zimbabwe and the exrtereme Pandemic situation its been really hard to help everyone with the sources we have.
So, Thanks to this platform, we have started a fund rasinig program for our Native to provide them more help. Our Group has decided to gather a fund of $3000 by which we can help our peoples and their near areas to al least sustain the next 8 months. This will include 2 meals a day for every needy in the village.
We decided to do as much as we can. However, we do need help! We are donating $700 and trying to add up some more.
We have to report them by the end of Feburary. Regardless of whether or not we
hit the target, we're going in.
