Right before Thanksgiving, Skyler and Jessica received the kind of news no parent should ever hear. Their sweet 5-year-old daughter, Lilianna, was unexpectedly admitted to the children's hospital and has since been diagnosed with Leukemia. She is now undergoing intensive treatment, including surgery, multiple blood transfusions, bone marrow procedures, a spinal tap and chemotherapy.
As they face this terrifying and emotional journey, her parents are doing everything they can to stay by her side-holding her hand, comforting her through the pain, and praying for healing. With three other children at home, the emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming.
