A Single Mom’s Dream: Helping My Daughter Reach UC Santa Barbara
As a single mother, I have spent years doing everything I possibly could to give my daughter opportunities I never had. There have been difficult days, sacrifices, and moments when I wasn’t sure how we would make everything work—but I never stopped believing in her.
Now, that hard work and dedication have led to something incredibly special: my daughter has been accepted to UC Santa Barbara! 🎓💙
I could not be more proud of her. She has worked so hard to get here, staying focused on her education and continuing to push forward even when things were difficult. This acceptance represents years of dedication, determination, and dreams finally becoming a reality.
As her mom, I have worked hard to support her every step of the way. Being a single mother has meant making sacrifices and putting my children’s needs before my own. I have done everything I could to help my daughter reach this moment, and now I want to make sure finances don’t stand in the way of her future.
College is an incredible opportunity, but the cost of tuition, housing, books, transportation, and everyday expenses can be overwhelming. I am asking for help so that my daughter can focus on her education and make the most of this opportunity at UCSB.
