Help me reach my hockey dreams!!!
Hi, I am Chandler Seals, I am 16 years old, and I LOVE hockey. I have great big dreams of playing in the NHL. For now, I have a more attainable goal of playing in the junior hockey league with hopes to play college hockey after high school. I have traveled all over trying out for teams in other states and even in Cananda. With a stroke of luck, the mariners decided to bring the junior league to me, starting a new team in my home rink. Even more lucky they chose me to play with them. Hockey is an expensive sport especially the higher you get, and my parents are going to do everything in their power to make this happen for me I'm doing my best to fundraise and get a job in my off-ice time to help. My father is a medically retired veteran from the U.S. Army. He served for 5 years before losing his leg in Afghanistan in 2013. My mom is his full-time caregiver as well as caring for all of us as well as looking for extra work on the side to offset the cost. I have one sister and 5 brothers. 4 of us kids play hockey in some capacity, my dad got a skating leg even my mom played a season. Hockey is an integral part of our life. The funds posted here are just the fees to play, my parents will still be covering all my gear, travel, extra tournament fees and much more.
