As many of you know Ellie has been on skis since she was 18 months old, thanks to her Poppy, Howie. She loves skiing and this is something we have enjoyed doing together over the last 6 years. This year, Ellie applied and was accepted to the Pico Ski Club. Pico is an amazing Ski Club that will offer Ellie a huge array of experiences that I simply can not give her on my own. She will learn the basics of slalom racing, be able to ski with kids her own ago on a consistent basis, compete in races and most importantly build important life skills that will benefit her far beyond just the snow covered mountain. 
As exciting as this is, this commitment comes with many costs throughout the season, from membership fees for state and national racing eligibility to basic equipment. I am hoping that by fundraising for her, we can help make Ellie’s first season in the club successful as I can not do it alone, (although I wish I could)
It is experiences and adventures that enrich children’s lives the most. So instead of toys or gifts, I would love to tell Ellie that her chance to be a part of this amazing ski club was because of all of her family and friends that helped support her and believe in her! 🎿
