Our Lady of Sorrows Parish and Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School students from Takoma Park, MD are going to a Steubenville Youth Conference for the first time! 

The Steubenville Youth Conferences are Catholic conferences that bring high school aged students to a close encounter with Christ. Thousands of high schoolers travel across America and Canada to attend these conferences. For the first time, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish and Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School are bringing their students! This will allow our youth to encounter Christ in a more radical way like never before!

With that being said, the Conferences are expensive, and we do not have a lot of money. Our Lady of Sorrows has limited reasources and Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School, which is connected to the parish, is a nonprofit high school that provides a vital Catholic education for students from families of limited economic resources. We were able to obtain a discount from the Steubenville Conferences due to our financial hardship, but we still need $6,000 to make it possible. This includes the cost of $150 per head (which is the discounted price,) the cost of transportaion, and the cost of food and water.
