Anya Wiley is a beautiful, fierce, God loving, God fearing Christian woman, who’s greatest joy and blessing in life has been her role as a wife to her husband, Jeremiah Sr. and mother to her two beautiful children, Jeremiah and Aniyah.

Anya grew up in Austin, TX where she met and married the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Jeremiah Wiley Sr. Their love story has always been one to emulate and they both knew at an early age that they were soulmates, marrying right out of college and beginning their family shortly thereafter.

Anya is so proud that both of her children attended the same AISD schools (Pease Elementary and LBJ High School) as she did here in Austin and there has never been anything more important to Anya than being involved in her children’s lives.  She shows up and signs up to volunteer for (and usually leads) everything they do, even when she is fighting the hardest battle ever, cancer.  Anya is grace… Anya is love… Anya is light… Anya is strength… we should all be more like Anya.

Anya was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 and she fought hard through radiation and chemotherapy to beat it.  Following completion of a series of radiation treatments, Anya was able ring the bell in 2019 and resumed her life and daily activities.

Unfortunately, with very little warning late last year, this terrible disease once again reared its ugly head and is attacking her body.  With the same determination that she has always had, Anya has been fighting hard to kick cancers butt having to go back and forth to MD Anderson in Houston almost weekly.  Despite the strain on her body and several recent hospital stays, she has never faltered in her commitment to her family while making sure her children feel loved, safe, happy and thriving.

Unfortunately, this latest battle does not appear to be one that Anya can win.

The most important thing to Anya now is that her son, Jeremiah, who is Freshman at Huston Tillotson University, finishes college and obtains his degree; and that Aniyah, who is an incredibly gifted dancer continues to “dance like nobody is watching” and excel in her passion as a dancer.

Please consider donating to this beautiful family facing their future without their Mother, wife, rock, their everything.

Thank you for supporting the Wiley family.

It is with a very heavy heart that we let you know that Anya made the transition peacefully to rest with her personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ yesterday afternoon. Anya was surrounded by her loving family, she is no longer in pain and is at peace. More info on details of the Service honoring Anya's life to come. Thank you for continuing to support the Wiley family.
