Everyone meet Charley!
Charley’s life started out extremely rough. His human wanted to use him for a hunting dog. But, you see the thing about Charley is he’s deaf. When Charley’s human found out he was deaf he decided he was of no use to him. He decided to tie Charley up in the very back of the property to a tree and left him there without any food or water for weeks. Later, they decided to drive about 15 minutes away to dump him like he was a piece of garbage ☹️ Thank goodness some really amazing people got involved and were able to get him out of the horrid situation. Charley was placed with his foster mom who absolutely fell in love with him. The rescue reached out to her in hopes she would be able to help. She took him in and of course fell in love with him. The rescue she’s working with is covering the cost of his basic needs at the vet. Heart worm meds, vaccines, wellness etc. Charley comes with his fair share of challenges. He is having problems walking correctly. His front paws drag the ground when he walks. They drag so much he is beginning to rub the skin off of his little paws and grind down his toe nails. His mom is doing everything she can to take care of him. However she is on a budget. She needs some help financially to be able to help him be the best Charley boy he can be! She wants to bring him to the vet to get him evaluated to find out what the next steps are and if it’s something that can be fixed.
