This is Smokey.  He is a stray kitten that was attacked at about 6 weeks old in his ear, neck and right hind leg areas. It has taken approximately 3 weeks to catch him, but with assistance from the community, we were finally able to and get him the much-needed medical attention he so desperately needed.  Poor Smokey was severely infected, septic, skittish and in very poor health.   Dr. Kari Rohl Steiner and her incredible staff at VCA North Country Animal Hospital we able to immediately schedule surgery for debridement and administer life-saving care and medications.  This fundraiser is to cover the cost of his surgery, medications, follow-up care and food/supplies.   If you are willing and able to donate, thank you!
