On October 24, 2025, Phaedra’s life was suddenly turned upside down after a terrible fall left her with a broken nose and a fractured C4 vertebra in her neck. She’s now in a neck brace, enduring constant pain and unable to work or handle everyday tasks. Doctors have warned that any wrong movement—or removing the brace too soon—could risk permanent paralysis.
Just a few months ago, Phaedra made a brave move to Pennsylvania after leaving an abusive relationship, starting over with nothing but five bags and hope for a new beginning. She worked tirelessly to rebuild her life, finding strength in her independence and a new sense of peace. Things were finally starting to look up—until this devastating accident changed everything.
Phaedra has been working full-time as an Assistant Manager at Turkey Hill, known by coworkers and customers alike for her dedication, warmth, and positivity. But now, she’s facing one of the hardest battles of her life—recovering from a serious injury while trying to stay afloat financially.
Because she hasn’t been with her job long enough, she doesn’t qualify for FMLA and currently has no weekly income. As she focuses on healing, she’s struggling to cover rent, utilities, medical co-pays, transportation to doctor’s appointments, and basic daily needs.
