Emily is 1 of 6 girls selected to represent South Western High School at the prestigious Cheer Hawaii USA Invitational. The week long camp is held at the University of Hawaii in June of this year.
Emily is currently a Junior at South Western; she has been in cheerleading since the 4th grade, cheering at both the school and competition level. She is also a member of the Women's Choir, Concert Choir, Varsity Club and has been on the distinguished honor roll since her freshman year.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for her, getting to learn from some of the best collegiate cheer coaches and cheerleaders in the nation. In addition to bettering her cheering skills, she will also get the opportunity to learn leadership skills, personal development, how to obtain college scholarships, both cheer and academic, and experience part of the Hawaiian culture.
We are hoping that any family or friends, local or not, that won't be able to participate in the fundraising events the girls are planning, would consider supporting her through this.
We are so extremely proud of what she has accomplished over the last few years, and are so excited for her to have this opportunity to represent South Western High School.
