My nephew, Joel, was hit by car while on his motorcycle August 3, 2026 in West Plains. He sustained critical injuries to his brain, face fractures, eye injury, broken arms, punctured lungs, broke pelvis, internal injuries and bleeding to his abdomen and groin. His mom (my sister) passed away in March, plus his dad passed away a few months before that. Joel also became a dad in December. He has had one rough year. He faced a battle that only a miracle could have solved.
Yesterday marked 3 weeks since the accident and no hopeful prognosis of recovery. He will start comfort care Friday at noon. I ask you all to please pray. Pray for a divine touch and peaceful passing for Joel. His family, his friends and all that know Joel are so crushed.
We are asking for donations for assist with the funeral and grave expenses for Joel. Unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident did not have insurance. Please help if you can and help with closure on this tragedy.
