Hi, my name is Ri'Key, and I’m reaching out for help withveterinary care. I recently inherited two dogs, Gizmo and Lily after the death of one aunt and the hospitalization of the other. I've handled much of their care so far and will continue to do so, but the vet they go to does not offer payment plans, and I do not qualify for care credit or scratch pay. I've tried getting loans, but was denied as my income is too low and I'm already in a ton of debt. I've also started selling things that I no longer need or want, and have started doing medical studies for the stipends, but with these new care estimates I know I'll be saving well into next year.
Gizmo is 10 years old and has been through a lot in life. He suffered neglect for a long time and unfortunately, the effects of his past are still with him. He needs urgent dental work to extract multiple teeth and clean whatever is left after the procedure. So, in order to get surgery Gizmo done in a timely manner, I ask for much needed help. The funds raised will go directly toward covering Gizmo’s dental procedure, which costs $2,700. This surgery will relieve his pain and help him get back to enjoying life as he should. I want nothing more than to see Gizmo comfortable and happy. Your support will make a real difference for him, and I am so grateful for any help you can offer.
I will also be adding what I can to this fund every two weeks when I get paid, but both dogs need work done before the extraction can happen so I can only save so much. I'm not the richest member of the family, but I am the only one willing to care for them and get what they need done after years of neglect.
