Meet Adobe.
Meet Adobe, our gentle giant! She is a lovable giant schnauzer/standard poodle mix from Northern California. Adobe used to enjoy spending her days playing with her brother Jagger, fetching balls, running in the park, and going for her daily walk around the block. Unfortunately, within the past year, Adobe was diagnosed with a torn cranial cruciate ligament, also known as the dog ACL, and she requires the TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery as her mobility is severely impacted by her left leg being nearly useless.
With her left leg being severely affected, making it difficult for her to walk, most of her weight is on her right leg, which also has a partial tear. By addressing the left leg first, we hope to alleviate some of the weight on her right leg and increase her responsiveness to non-surgical treatment options. Over the past few months, Adobe's condition has worsened, and she now struggles to get up from a seated position and move from one place to another.
The good news is that there is a surgical solution available, but unfortunately, we are unable to afford the cost on our own. That's why we are reaching out to you for support! Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference in our ability to make this happen. We are eager to improve Adobe's life and help her regain her mobility and quality of life.
