My cat Michael needs teeth removed so that the infection will clear up, he is having problems breathing and has lost a scary amount of weight, because he is barely eating anything. Since I only get disability SSI income I do not have enough money to pay for the vet costs

It is with a heavy heart that I update this post because Michael has passed away. His little body fought for 3 months but it just couldn't do it any longer. Thank you so much for donating and sharing this story.

Hi I wanted to give an update on Michaels condition

After 3 weeks of 4 different antibiotics I asked the vet if the tooth can just be pulled and she explained that there is no redness or swelling in the gums so she no longer thinks its a bad tooth, and she gave me something to try to clear up his sinuses.  Its been 2 weeks and the only improvement is that Michael is eating more on his own and playing with Dr Loomis more but he is still struggling to breathe and making a snorting noise all the time. I have 2 humidifiers running and 2 air purifiers and I think its helping a lot but I would still really like to get him into a clinic to try and figure out the problem and hopefully get some medicine that will help him. I know the vet clinic will want to give him fluids, run blood tests and possibly take x rays, might need to sedate him also so that all is still very costly for me. I am saving every penny I can and just hoping he can hold out until I have the money to take him to a clinic for help. the mobile vet can only do so much, mostly prescribe medicines because she does not have a clinic with equipment for diagnosing problems.
