I live in North Platte, NE, 69101. I am 51 and have had my stuff in storage in Denver, CO since I was 32. The only reason that I have held on to it for so long is because it contains items that money can't buy back: my comic book collection, my portfolios from college, antiques, wedding pictures, my wedding tape, many other items of my now deceased wife's.
I desperately want to get my stuff moved, but I've never been able to raise the money to rent a truck and hire people to help me move my stuff back to North Platte. My monthly fees have gone up a lot over the years and if I could just raise the money then I could get all my stuff back and put it in a storage unit here for a much lower cost. Then I could go through all of and sell off some items (many are brand new and have never been used) as well as keep what I want. The storage unit also contains my wife's family Bible which is over 150 years old and I would desperately like to return it to her family.
In addition to this I don't have a car or a driver's license so I need to hire someone to drive the truck and someone else to help move the stuff in and out of the truck. I did manage to make it back out there 1 time and everything is in good order; the boxes are just dusty.
The costs are basically like credit card debt. I've just never been able to save enough money to get out in front of it. I do work full time, but live paycheck to paycheck.
Any assistance anyone out there could help me with would be most appreciated.
