They say, "it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye!" Well, my sweet 3 year old Portuguese Water Dog was playing hard and having a great time when playtime took a turn. A nip here, a claw there and playtime was over. Unfortunately, when everyone had been separated and the tally of hurt feelings had been tallied, my 3 year old girl found herself in need of a trip to the eye doctor. My smart girl managed to protect her eye, but she still has multiple lacerations to the area around it and requires immediate (and expensive) surgery.
Any help, no matter the amount, will be appreciated!
