Hi My name is Marilyn and I’m a fire survivor. On March 5th around 12:00 am my neighbor upstairs apartment caught on fire while everyone was asleep but me, I was live streaming on Tiktok that night/morning and I heard the fire detector go off very unusual for that to happen around 12:00 AM as I left my apartment to go upstairs I already knew it was too late for one of my neighbor, so I had to scream and shout and knock on seven other doors to save lives and also mine. I will make this long story very short and just have you guys watched the video. This has taken a toll on me and everyone else. My main goal was to save everybody out one of the neighbors did pass away. We end up losing everything because we had to leave the premises we were not allowed to go back at all until 24 hours later to remove what’s left of our apartment. The apartment complex roof has collapsed and a lot of people lost everything thank God we are alive. As for me I have nowhere to go and I need help to get into a place I had to borrow a friends transportation to get around rent out a storage and put everything what I can in there. At this point in my life it feels like a dream but my main goal like I said was to save all. I am not a hero but I am human and that’s what we are supposed to do is help one another. I would appreciate if you guys can help me to get through this so I could find my new home because this was my home and now it’s gone.
