Who You Help:
The First Tee of Metropolitan New York was founded in 2001 at Mosholu Golf Course in the Bronx and now includes five additional Facilities at Eisenhower Park, Plainfield West 9, Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, and Weequahic Park. The Chapter was formed through a partnership that includes the Metropolitan Golf Association Foundation, the Met Section PGA and the Rudin Family to teach young people that have traditionally been denied access to the game valuable Life Skills and Nine Core Values through the game of golf. These values include Honesty, Integrity, Courtesy, Confidence, Respect, Perseverance, Judgment, Responsibility and Sportsmanship and are taught seamlessly with golf instruction through a unique curriculum developed by top educators.
Our Mission: To impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf, with a focus of serving minority and under-privileged youth.
EDUCATE - Students progress through a structured curriculum teaching them important skills to help them in their lives, on and off the golf course.
ENRICH - Through advanced classes, mentoring programs and special events, The First Tee provides participants with great opportunities to which they would otherwise not have access.
EMPOWER - The First Tee gives young people from our program guidance and the tools they need to succeed, benefiting each individual and the broader community.
This raffle is for a threesome accompanied by a member of the Meadow Brook Club, including caddie fees and green fees. The winner may elect to bring three guests for a significant incremental fee, to be discussed by the winner and the donating individual. Round must be used before December 31, 2020. Scheduling will be on a best efforts basis – while multiple members of the club have offered to donate their time, availability on a given day cannot be guaranteed.
How to Enter: Receive entries into the drawing for every donation made to the Spotfund story or successful share link on spotfund.com through February 5, 2020.
