Dennis Dozier and his fiancé, Joy Morrow, have had a challenging time lately and need your generosity to help them and their family build a new home. On August 22, 2025, Dennis' father passed away. At the time of his passing, Joy was 2 months pregnant. Dennis and Joy and their daughter, Lydia, were living in Dennis' father’s house. In the middle of the night on September 14, 2025, their house caught on fire due to an electrical problem. They were barely able to get the three of them out safely before the whole house was engulfed in flames. No one was hurt, thankfully, but they lost everything they had as the house was destroyed with only the metal items remaining.

This home was Dennis' childhood home. He lost everything he had and had ever known, including his dad's ashes after being cremated. Unfortunately, they do not have homeowners’ insurance. Dennis is currently living with his dad's widow in a trailer. He has had to put a lot of his own money into the trailer to make it functional. While he is living there, Joy and Lydia are living in Arkansas.

They were able to get some immediate assistance for clothes and necessary items from Dennis' church, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson, Texas. He hates having to ask for help, but he really needs assistance with getting the materials to build a new house for his family.

Dennis and Joy have had a difficult past, but they have turned their lives around and have put Christ at the center of all they do. Dennis is an active member of Immaculate Conception and Joy is converting to the Catholic faith, and she will be coming into the Church this Easter. They were engaged on February 28th at the Church. On March 5th, Joy gave birth to a beautiful girl named Evelyn Rose.

So, their family of 4 is now in need of a modest 3-bedroom house that will be suitable for all of them. Any support you can give to help this incredible family get a fresh start would be appreciated.
