Colin’s family’s world has been turned upside down with the tragic loss of Colin at the young age of 44. Colin was repairing a piece of farm equipment at home when it fell on him. Colin had worked as a conductor for BNSF Railroad for the past 12 years. Additionally, he was the local Union chairman and training coordinator. He leaves behind his four children, Shila, Tori, Wyatt, and Garrett and his wife Jolene to carry on operation of the Flat Wallet Farm and Bag and Butcher Custom Meats in Forsyth, MT.
Colin was born and raised in Eureka, MT. He was an outstanding football, basketball, and track athlete at Lincoln County High School in Eureka graduating in 1998. He continued his education in Southern California. He was making good use of his Business Law and Sociology classes in his work for BNSF and the creation of his pig farm. He had many plans for the future of his family, the pig farm and the Custom meat shop.
With his magnetic personality and contagious smile, he connected with people from all walks of life. In addition to his immediate family, he was loved by an extensive extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as many in the communities of Forsyth, Eureka, and friends that he met through work and the businesses. Colin will be missed but will never be forgotten.
Because of the outpouring of requests by so many people to help the family in this time of need and sorrow, we have set up this fundraising page to help meet the various needs of the family.
Please help in any way you can, even if it is to say a prayer and to keep the family in your heart.
