Hi everyone! My name is Haley Chadwick and I live in Mannford, Oklahoma. In the past 6 months, I have went from being able to pay ALL of my household bills and other expenses on my own salary to now, I cant even buy a loaf of bread for my family and I. This month, I was left with no choice but to resign from my place of employment due to the lack of childcare for my 3 young children before and after school hours, therefore, my income has drastically changed. I have been on SO many phone calls with OKDHS, loan lenders, financial aid companies and even churches/charities asking for some kind of help with these outrageous rent and utility payments, just to get DENIED and even SCAMMED throughout it all. I have completely set my pride aside in these times not for myself, but for my children. Today, I am starting this fundraiser in hopes and prayer that I can actually get through to my community and resources around me and aquire the funds to help my children and I get back on top. My MAIN battle currently is my utility bill. The last THREE MONTHS, my bill has exceeded $600.00, which is absolutely unheard of. This month(August), my bill is $672.00. I've called the 1 and only utility company in Mannford multiple times to dispute the insane amount, but their is no sympathy, no negotiation, no payment plan option, no care on the fact that my electric is as much as my rent 😵‍💫 In result, my utilities have been shut off 2 months in a row, leaving my kids and I in a hot house. If not paid by September 1st, it will be shut off again. I am just not willing to put my children through that again so I am optimistic for THIS PROGRAM to be the life changer for us.
