I have friend who has tirelessly devoted her life to animal rescue. She has a small 6 1/2 acre ranch in the foothills of Northern California. She has devoted her property and personal finances to rescuing Potbelly pigs, horses, dogs and cats. She just turned 65, but instead of retiring, she continues to work, to support the rescue animals in her care. She and her animals have been on wildfire evacuation standby twice, within the last four  v c years and have been snowed in, on several occasions, but she always made sure the animals were safe and comfortable. She has volunteered for other animal rescues and offered her property and horse trailers, for evacuations of animals. She lives alone and has not taken a vacation in years. She is so devoted to her cause, that she has been vegetarian for 50 years. I am asking anyone who is able, to donate to this worthy cause. No donation is too small and all donations are appreciated. Donations can be sent to C. Quinn, 5600 Johntown Creek Rd., Garden Valley, CA 95633. Following are pictures of some of her rescue animals.
