Hello my name is Robert I am an American living in Ukraine (for 12 years) with my wife and small children. Every night before she goes to sleep my 4 year old daughter ask me if Russia is going to drop bombs on us while she sleeps , this is heart breaking for me as a father so as the war draws closer to my area I have seen the urgency to get my wife and children out of Ukraine and to the safety of the US. We will be leaving our home and everything we own in Ukraine and starting over in the US. I have tried to get help from my government , but they say I have to go to Germany (2000) km away or Poland (1200) km away and the live as a refugee for 2 to 3 months while I wait for documents for my wife and children. I am not very good at asking for help but at this point I have few option, so anything you can donate to help will be forever appreciated by me and my family. one last note anything remaining from donations after I get back to the US will be donated to help other familes in Ukraine
