My daughter Caterra has been invited to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Explore STEM, an Envision by WorldStrides program for middle school students to be held next summer 2026. She went in 5th grade but the cost is so expensive we couldn't go this year. Hopefully we can raise enough money in time for us to make the trip next year. We can choose from a few states and universities. She says she wants to go to either Miami or Atlanta.
A little bit about Caterra. She is a honor roll student all through school. She is in honor courses last year and this year. She is a very talented, smart, and loving child. Her grades are excellent. Last year all A's throughout the year. This year has just started and she has A's in 6 classes and 1 B. She loves to draw and she is Active in church.
A little bit about the program. NYFL Explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). It is a unique program designed to give high-achieving middle school students an introduction to a career. She will explore the areas of medicine, engineering design, robotics programming, and forensic science as well as life skills necessary to succeed in the work place and beyond.
