Hello, I'm Lucas, on February 25 I suffered a car accident while outside my country. They took me urgently to a clinic, where after a while they let me go with a simple bandage and medication. When I go to another emergency hospital, they inform me that I suffered from a double fracture of the ulna and radius and finally I had an emergency operation, where they placed 2 titanium plates in both bones and they told me that I was close to losing my arm. After 1 week, I continue with surgeries, treatments and connected to a pump to avoid major risks. I still have at least one more surgery to go, hopefully, and I pray it will be the last. I want to go back to my country but I can't do it until my arm is out of any risk. Despite having health insurance, medical expenses reached exorbitant numbers and it is practically impossible for me to afford them with my seasonal job. I have the containment and care of my colleagues but I would need their collaboration in these critical moments. I thank you in advance!
