I am an Artist and aspiring Film Maker born in Camden Town, London. My childhood was spent moving back and forth between London and Brooklyn, New York. As a child I was inspired by the different cultures of film and art in Europe and America, in particular American Graffiti, Monty Python and Batman have been largely influential on my imagination. I grew up in a locally known haunted house called The Green Man Well where my family and friends regularly experienced paranormal activity. My parents nurtured my interest for creation by giving me the opportunity to delve into their lives and collections from a young age. My Brooklyn born mother is a Druid Priestess and being surrounded by Tarot decks, ancient books and magical artefacts was the norm. I had access to my London born fathers expansive film collection, which included everything Close Encounters of the Third Kind to Beavis and Butt-Head do America. Traveling throughout my life with family and making friends, my fascination with story telling grew when I listened to book adaptions on story tapes with my brothers. To this day my favourites are Robin Hood, The Happy Prince and The Hobbit. These story tapes and my vast comic collection have moulded my whole outlook and shaped me as a storyteller and Film Writer. I have been making music for the past 20 years and designing fashion for the past 5. Making films is a way blend these skillsets and create an experience that brings together the sound and vision of how I imagine it to be created. This anime movie is based on mythical ancient tales and my personal life experiences with my Malinoir dog, Starrish. My dream is to bring this project to life as a animated feature film and graphic novel and for the story to exist in different mediums throughout time.
