Hello, beautiful mamas 🫶🏼 I am Hannah, (26) married to the sweetest man, and we have a little boy and a little girl aged 5 and 3. I am currently a stay at home mom and my husband works IT for a pole barn company.
Being chosen as MOTY felt like a direct answer to my prayers of late. I have been praying over and over for God to show me a way to make more money to help in a season of extra expenses and the need to move houses. When I heard my name on the live I truly felt and believe that that was God reminding me that he loves me and that he is hearing my prayers.
In light of everything going on in the media and the world this week, my heart has felt so heavy and I've found it difficult to write this post. Maybe some of you feel this with me as fellow moms: the fear of what could happen to our children in the coming years, the feeling of hopelessness to protect them, the darkness closing in on us. I want to encourage you - as I'm trying to encourage myself - to first take these feelings to the one who has overcome the evil of this world and let him carry your burden. Then, to fiercely love those he has given you and all people as much as possible each day that we are given with them. Love God with all your heart, love your family and your neighbors and pray without ceasing! He hears our prayers and will answer when we call.
