Please Help Joel Hedtke Fight Pancreatic Cancer & Support His Family.
Our family is asking for help for someone we love deeply, Joel Hedtke, as he faces a battle no family ever expects to endure.
Joel has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He is a husband, a father of five children, and someone whose family depends on him in countless ways. Right now, instead of being able to focus solely on fighting this disease and spending precious time with his family, Joel is also facing an overwhelming financial burden.
The treatment Joel needs requires him to travel out of state, and much of the care he needs is not covered by insurance. His surgery alone is expected to cost more than $40,000+ out of pocket, before even considering the additional expenses for treatment, travel, lodging, follow-up care, medications, and everyday household needs.
With five children to care for, the youngest being 4 weeks, the financial pressure is becoming more than any family should have to carry while also facing cancer. Along with medical and travel expenses, donations will help with baby supplies, groceries, household necessities, and other expenses for the children while Joel undergoes treatment and recovery.
