Help Train Lifesaving Search Dogs

Prior to 2003 we were doing searches in North Carolina and throughout southern Virginia. During that time, we usually were called too late to save the person. In 2002 all of that changed. We were called into assist in a case in Virginia where a husband and wife were killed and their nine year-old daughter was missing. Her remains or at least part of them would be found later. After our Dogs gave the Sheriff a lot of new information on that case which other Dogs had not been able to do, he asked us where he could get one of these dogs. We went home, consulted our neighbors in our family and our friends and collected enough money to train one and donate it to them. We came to the conclusion that if the dogs belonged to the law-enforcement agency, they would be used a lot faster and more people would be found alive. That was the driving force behind us starting this nonprofit today we have donated Dogs as far away as the islands of Hawaii and have immensely surpassed what we thought we would be able to do as far as locating people in saving lives. Donations have fallen off since Covid and we are receiving more request as police departments are losing funding. What is more important than a dog that will save a human life? Thank you for your support since 2003. We have run an all volunteer staff. No one has ever received a paycheck.
