I connected with Nermeen, a beautiful 27-year-old college graduate displaced in northern Gaza, over instagram. We have spoken on video chat several times and messaged each other for over 1.5 months. I've seen her beautiful family living in an impossible situation, bombs sounding in the background. When we've spoken in the morning, the bomb sounds seem fewer, but the day ahead is still filled with uncertainty and hunger.
