Over the course of 7 years, I was fortunate enough to employ over 70 neurodivergent individuals. It was the absolute Joy Of My Life. Not only did I get to train and mentor these wonderful people, but I got to build a family and make life long friends.
Throughout those 7 years, I learned hard work, stamina, the beauty of the neurodivergent mind, and pure love. I wasn't thinking about how to make money or save money for my future. I was thinking about how to keep all of these individuals employed for as long as possible.
There were so many people throughout the years who helped with this mission that made it so beautiful. I have lost my joy and I would love to get it back, but for now, I would like to find a way to make it through the day.
It embarrasses me so much to ask for help, but it's the only thing that I can think of right now.
