Baby Beau was born this Tuesday. He was taken from us shortly after birth because he was having some respiratory distress from something called TTN. The doctors also think his lungs look premature for his gestation (sometimes it just happens they say). His little body was fighting & working so hard that he then developed a pneumothorax in his left lung. He was immediately airlifted & transferred to Houston for NICU. His doctors & nurses have been nothing short of amazing. They are confident he will recover, but are unsure just how long he will be staying for as it depends on him & his body.
We have had soooo many people asking what they can do to help, and honestly we aren’t even sure. We are traveling to & from Houston daily and will continue to do so until he’s released. My amazing mother & mother in law are taking care of the other 3 boys back at home while we are being there for baby Beau. We created this so anyone who would like to help can help us with travel expenses (gas, food, stays, etc) & some medical bills.
