On January 9th, Miriam Frease underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor that was pressing on her optic nerve and limiting her vision. While the procedure was successful in addressing the tumor, Miriam suffered multiple severe strokes shortly after surgery. These strokes have greatly impacted her recovery and left her working to regain control of the left side of her body.
Miriam is now in a rehabilitation facility where she is courageously re-learning how to walk, use her left arm and hand, and carry out daily activities many of us take for granted. Her determination and positive spirit continue to shine through, even in the face of enormous challenges.
The road ahead will be long, and her medical and rehabilitation needs have changed drastically. The Frease family deeply appreciates all of the love, prayers, and support they’ve received. Donations to this fundraiser will go directly toward Miriam’s medical expenses, therapy, and the many unexpected costs that come with such a life-changing event.
Miriam and her family are endlessly grateful for your compassion, generosity, and encouragement during this difficult time. Every contribution — no matter the size — helps lighten their load and remind them they are not walking this road alone.
