"Princess" now known as "Greta" was supposed to be euthanized the same day that she was rescued. She was at one of the highest kill shelters here, in California. She was kept isolated in a dark enclosure in the back where she didn't have a chance. Once she was rescued from the shelter, the easy part was over. She was brought to the vet hospital that I work at where we (the doctor, the girls & I) were faced with a bigger challenge, which was keeping Greta alive. She was very sick with Pneumonia. It had gone into her bloodstream & there were times where we thought that she wasn't going to make it. After weeks of being sick, she ended up pulling through. The most challenging part of it all was finding her a forever home. It took 6 long months. She finally got her happy ending & it wouldn't be possible without the help from the Coastal German Shepherd Rescue. Dan, in particular. Thank you so much your heart, your kindness, your time & your help. Thank you for everything! I am forever grateful ♥️🙏🏻
