Jordan is our son, 10 years old, 5’7’ tall & he has a dream!
Not one of those I want to go to Disney land or I hope to get a new phone kind of dream.
A real dream, and it’s a big one!
He’s been in Orlando this July and played in the AAU nationals and got second place with his team , this is where Jordan want to be and where he wants to train and grow.
So for the year of 5 Th. Grade we will have to have him fly out to Arizona monthly , so we need all the help we can get - any support is so appreciated!
He wants to live of playing professional basketball when he grows up, he wants to become a real athlete & do great things with his voice in this world through his sport.
He dreams of playing in the NBA and using his voice to change the world, he understands that hard work pays off and its the only way to become great, that the hard ships in life is a way of learning your inner self and the challenges you face can mold you to become a better man & and that love for people is the way of the world.
Jordan did a lemonade stand in may where he raised enough to go play his first out of state tournament in LA and when he was there he connected with a crazy team from Arizona, J Szizzle!
They wanted him to join their team and also now wants him to play with them at the AAU Nationals in Florida this July !
HE does not only play seasonal, but all year long: winter , summer , spring - all of it, this is what he wants to do.
Jordan practice basketball 3 days a week with his club, bounces the ball at home, gets private lessons in shooting & post plays , he does all to better him self in multiple sports to become a stronger athlete.
He trains track to become faster, football to become stronger, lacrosse to catch & throw, baseball to be precise & karate to build mental strength.
Jordan was born in Denmark , Europe and lived there until he was 8 years old.
After his grandmother died, we as a family decided to start our chapter in America & move to Eugene where dad grew up playing sports and being in the energy of the ducks and living around athletes everywhere.
He did not understand the full meaning of what sports can do for a kid until he got here, America showed him that dreams are made to become real and now that’s all he does, is dream and hope they become his life.
Jordan goes to church on Sundays, takes care of his school and gets acknowledged for his eagerness / he wants to lean and do great.
Jordan works around his dyslexia and his ADHD , Jordan does not want to take medicine for his ADHD / he wants to show us and his teachers that he can follow school and be a great friend and student by having control over his diagnosis through hard work & determination. Sports is what’s building his character and what’s giving him confidence.
Jordan got baptized in March and said yes to following Jesus , he wants to grow up and have a platform where he can use his role for good, Jordan understands the ways of the world & he knows that love is needed to make a change.
Jordan wishes to build homeless shelters and give spaces for kids and young adults to train and follow their dreams within sports, this is a dream for his adult life, life has served him some pretty heavy realities at young age , which has made him dream of a better world & his want to be part of that.
Jordan does not watch any YouTube, tik tok or any other platform, does not have a phone - all he wishes to be is out in nature, hang out with friends and ride their bikes around.
get better in sports and training every day , he sees the greatness of not letting your life being dominated by online realities or tablets, but instead sharing real life friendships and creating memories that last for a lifetime.
Maybe the next generation , being Jordan’s group of kids can stray away from phones, social media and online reality & live authentically.
Jordan needs help to make this dream come true, since Mom ( Danish ) is still waiting for her green card 1,5 year into it ( being in America legally ) but can’t work until the actual green card comes.
Dad works at a homeless shelter for troubled youth, he provides and takes care of the family but extra money for sports is not possible, we need help.
Focus, determination and mental development is Jordan’s life , on top of laughter with best friends, listening to old school music and dancing in the living room + multiple training sessions to realize the joy of leaning to know , not to show.
Support Jordan is his dream of living of his athletic gift, his drive to keep learning and his wish to have basketball be his future.
Just because you’re 10 doesn’t mean you don’t know exactly what you want.
Support Jordan in training as much basket ball as possible & becoming an athlete of his time - he will not disappoint - everyday is a grind and he never backs down from a challenge, he LOVES the sport and how it makes him grow.
Donate here and help Jordan 🙏
From two very proud parents - that sadly can’t support him financially in all the dreams he has , but sure does support him in life.
