As some of you may not know our nephew Brandon's wife Alexis, has a brain tumor. On the first day of their family vacation in Florida, Alexis started having a medical emergency that landed her in the ER. After a scan was done, the doctor came in with a diagnosis and stated that she was being moved hospitals. Once moved, she was placed in ICU for a week. She underwent surgery to remove a tumor on her brain. A week vacation turned into a two week stay in Florida. After the second week she was released to come home. Once back in Georgia the pathology report came back and they put together a team of doctors to care for her here. She has completed part one of the two part process to heal. At the end of the first part some more complications arose causing her not to be able to work. She is currently in the second part of the treatment. She is fighting and trying to be the best mother, wife, daughter, daughter in law and friend she can be, all while missing her students and coworkers at her job as a teacher. She doesn't want to feel like a charity case but we all love her and she needs us during her fight against this tumor. Things that we ask from you are to PRAY for her and her family daily, help anyway you can whether it be cooking a meal or sending money here for them. She and Brandon are doing the best they can to stay afloat during this time so anything will help them in this time of need. We all love Brandon, Alexis and Noele.
