I came across this adorable dog on Facebook that someone had to get rid of quickly. In planning on making her a part of my family, I realized that she’s had no training whatsoever. She’s a very sweet girl that just doesn’t know how to be a dog. I am positive that with structure and training she will make a great pet if not for me, for another family. I am dedicated to help get her what she needs to be placed in the perfect home. I am planning to enroll her in a month-long program after which I can assess if she will be a good fit for our home with my eight-year-old daughter and two-year-old male pit mix. If in the training, we decide that she’s better in a single dog home, I will do whatever it takes to help place her in the best home for her.
I’m hoping to raise money for both her vet bills as well as board and train. I’m sure this is the minimum amount that I’ll need but it’s a good place to start. I feel very strongly about putting dogs and humans in the proper situations where they can be safe and happy. I think we need to see her around other dogs and make sure that she has a strong foundation with cues and manners before we can try to place her.
When I called the shelter she had been rescued from I was told that she had been returned 3 times…that’s not good I cannot let her go back int that situation it will not help her get adopted. She is so shy she need interaction to build her confidence and manners.
If you’ve known me for any period of time, you know that my dogs are my children and they are always with me at work/in the studios and I take all of the necessary measures to make sure that they are well behaved and safe. This could potentially be our new Empowered Pilates community dog!
Can you please help? She’s in a bad situation and we need to get her into this training program ASAP. Can we raise some money before 1/24 please!! I promised to pick her up that day and transport her to a board and train where she will be loved on and taught until I”we can start looking for a home.
Please share snd help spread the word! Who knows maybe you will be the one to help find her the perfect home!!!
