On November 2nd 2021 I got into a freak accident in Southfield,MI. I remember I was on my way to work and was running a little behind so I was driving a little faster than normal. Approximately 80-85mph in the fast lane. But while I was otw this van jumped in front of me, and me trying to avoid slamming into the van I tried moving to a safe lane but as I was tilting the steering wheel my tire rod had snapped and I completely lost control of my front tires. I tried to regain control but that caused me to swerve left and right out of control going 80mph in a fish tailing motion. I can't quite remember if I hit a car or a wall but whatever I hit had knocked me out of the driver seat an on to the passengers side floor and I had sprained my arm from the impact I looked up from the passenger floor as the car was still driving but I was too in shock to react quick enough to get back in the driver seat. All I heard was a loud crashing noise as if a lot of glass had shattered. One of the most life threatening moments I've ever had. After the crash I blacked out for a few minutes woke up to airbags and dark smoke arising through my air vents and a bloody eyebrow and a huge lump in my head, bruises head to toe. I thank god til this day for being alive because I could've had broken bones or even be dead. Now I'm on my own 2 feet again making ends meet. Now I have to start all over again.
