On October 19, 2025, Herb Banzhaf - father to Kyla and Hope, caregiver to his mom Christel, - went missing. On October 23, Herb was found to have died by suicide, having lost his long and difficult struggle with mental health challenges and addiction. Herb was deeply loved, especially by his daughters, Hope and Kyla.
Our hearts are broken, and his daughters are now facing this significant loss while also stepping into important transitions in their own lives. Hope is a senior in high school, preparing for what comes next, and Kyla is just beginning her career as a stylist. The emotional and financial impact on them is profound.
We are creating this fund to support Hope and Kyla as they navigate the months and years ahead. Contributions will help with education costs, living expenses, and hopefully giving them some stability as they rebuild.
