Romeo, is my sister's 4 year old bully, and her best friend. He is very sick and is in desperate need of emergency vet care. We are dealing with a possible blockage or bowl obstruction which is currently causing him horrible suffering. He refuses to eat and if he does, cannot keep it down. He is declining fast and is slipping away before our eyes as we sit helpless. We have tried everything it seems to get enough together but we just don't have it. Emergency vet care is very expensive! Especially when dealing with a very large dog that does not want to be examined. He needs sedation, ultrasound, and tests that we just cannot afford. And without help, Romeo will most certainly lose his life right in front of his mom who is already having such a hard time. The goal amount I am trying to raise is just to get him the initial emergency care and testing. It is very likely he would need surgery if there is, in fact, obstruction. He does not have much time. He is so tired. And so weak. This boy is kind and sweet and such a good boy. He is part of our family and my sister needs him. He is everything to her. Seeing him this way is just heart wrenching and we are in desperate need of help to save him asap! Please consider donating to help Romeo! Romeo is doing better. he is finally starting to want to eat. it is slow going but there is improvement. i am in the hole about $3000 still for his vet bills and still requires treatments and check ups. He survived surgery but we are not done yet. Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with us and contributed money and or thoughts and prayers. He would not have had the care he needed right away without your help. Now is very important to keep him well. the cost is high and i am tapped. i used every penny i had and money i didn't have. rent, car, insurance is all left unpaid. that stuff means nothing to me, but post care is everything. please continue to share this and i will keep everyone posted. Romeo sends his love as do i out to all the kind hearted people who actually care

Romeo is still fighting. I am so grateful for everyone who had donated and sent love and prayers. to answer the repetitive questions asking if i have applied for care credit and other programs, YES. I have applied for every possible source of funding from care credit to loans. I have used and exhausted every penny from my my rent money, car payment, food, i have taken small loans, cash advances. I have tried and applied so much that i finally got scammed and all my accounts have been emptied and frozen. they were already empty anyway. I am not well myself, this has taken a big toll on me and I had to go to the hospital. i have been so consumed with saving my boy i put aside my pain and obvious decline of heath aside. I don't know the how bad the damage is from ignoring my issue but it most like will require surgery AGAIN. please understand i would NEVER be on social media begging for help if i had things left to apply for or recieve. so stop asking me. it's insulting. of course i have applied!

Romeo is still fighting hard to get through this. He is in observation through today. he's been given some medication that will give stomach relief and for nausea. hopefully i can get him to eat a little today. If there is still no change in his condition tomorrow he will have to go back to the animal hospital.
