Hi, my name is Lyric Jones-Westbrook, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Youth Development Leadership at Clemson University, with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026.
I have worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout my program and have been recognized by Clemson University’s Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA) for my academic achievements and leadership potential.
Unfortunately, I am not in a position to obtain financial assistance through FAFSA, which means I must pay for these courses entirely out of pocket.
I chose this field because I am passionate about creating better environments for young people to learn and grow. My long-term goal is to work in educational leadership, specifically evaluating school culture and climate to ensure students feel supported, safe, and empowered to succeed.
This degree is more than just a milestone: it’s a step toward making a meaningful impact in education and in the lives of students. Completing this program will allow me to turn that vision into reality.
The funds raised will go directly toward my final four summer courses, helping me stay on track to graduate this August.
