We rescued family of Cats!
Last month we ( and a group of loving neighbors) rescued a sweet, feral cat mom and her kittens, and we need your help! We’re trying to provide as many of the basic requirements recommended for each of them to grow and thrive, including spaying/neutering, medications, vaccinations, healthy food, and a litany of daily supplies and activities.
In July we started to see a feral cat mom and her kittens coming and going from an empty yard next door, so we began investigating. It was obvious the mom had been domesticated, but has been on the streets for a while, and though the kittens started out feral, they also turned out to be very sweet. After many-a-Churu and coordinating with neighbors, we eventually captured the mom and four kittens, and plan to adopt one (a spunky boy we’ve named Carl) as a companion for our young cat Echo.
We have potential homes lined up for the rest of them, but the costs of services and supplies needed are substantial. Any help to set up the mom and these little guys would make a huge difference. Our neighbors have been fantastic and we are doing what we can, but every bit helps.
