Hi! I’m a working, single mom of 2 beautiful children ages 11 and 8. I relocated to CT from NY to give my children a more stable and normal childhood. I was born and raised in NY and know how challenging it is to raise children in a tough environment. I wanted to give them a chance to experience life in a different way from what I experienced. Although the move has been great, school are amazing and they have made plenty of wonderful friends. Things are a bit more expensive up here! Kids here are involved in sports and many extracurricular activities that unfortunately as a single mom I’m unable to afford. It saddens me that their friends are able to do these things while they just got to school and come home. This summer I would love to enroll them in a summer program that offers many cool and fun activities such as sports, trips etc.
With your help I’m sure I’ll be able to give my children a memorable and fun summer. Thank you all for helping just a bit to make my children’s childhood one they can remember.
