Hello! My name is Abbie Stockard, and I am so excited to be raising funds for the Miss America Foundation as part of the Miss Alabama 2022 competition. This is a very special year because we are celebrating the 100th year of Miss America!
One of the amazing parts about participating in the Miss America Organization is that there are many scholarships given.
My educational objective is to enter the Pre-Nursing program at Auburn and earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I would then like to attain my Masters of Science in Nursing, taking advantage of Auburn’s Nursing Dual Track option. My career objective is to become a Pediatric Nurse Anesthetist.
A scholarship would be so appreciated and beneficial for me and my family because I have a twin brother who is also a student at Auburn. I also have a sister who is a freshman in high school. My mom, who is single, is responsible for our college expenses. While I know she will do her best, she will not be able to fully pay for all three of us to attend college. Consequently, we would be required to take out student loans to pay for college.
Receiving scholarship money through the Miss America Organization would help my family financially and allow me to pursue my educational and career objectives.
I am asking for support in my campaign for the Miss America Foundation. No donation is too small, and every dollar goes towards providing scholarships for women who are ready to change the world for the better.
