On Friday, November 24th, 2023, my partner Lacy Smith passed away. Lacy was a kind, gracious, talented and wonderful person. Wherever they went, they touched people with their comforting presence and easy manner; everyone always talked about how understanding they were and how they could talk to anyone. With their band, Gabba Ghoul, they would go all over the new york/nj/philly area to play shows and people really loved the music. Lacy has made a lasting impression on so many people and they will never be forgotten.
At this time, I'm trying to collect funds to help Lacy's family with end-of-life expenses, as well as to help support them as much as possible in this heartbreaking moment in time. This money will be going directly to their mother and younger sister, deposited directly to their Mother's account.
Thank everyone thus far for posting nice words and images, it means a lot to all of us that were close to Lacy. I'm currently trying to figure out the best way to collect images and videos everyone has of Lacy, and will update when I figure out how to do so. We would appreciate any and all support that anyone is able to give to ease this process.
