We are coming together to support our dear friend Isabel “Izzy” and her family during an incredibly painful time.
Over the past few months, Izzy has been navigating her sister’s sudden and aggressive battle with late-stage cancer. It progressed quickly, leaving little time to prepare. Despite doing everything she could—supporting her sister, handling medical challenges, and working through complex immigration efforts to reunite her family—her sister has now passed.
As Izzy grieves, she is also facing unexpected financial and logistical burdens.
Her sister did not have a funeral plan, and the family now needs help covering cremation costs and fulfilling their wish to bring her ashes to Colombia, where her son and loved ones can say a proper goodbye.

En los últimos meses, Izzy ha enfrentado la repentina y agresiva enfermedad de su hermana, quien luchaba contra un cáncer en etapa avanzada. Todo ocurrió muy rápido, dejando poco tiempo para prepararse. A pesar de sus esfuerzos por apoyar a su hermana y reunir a su familia en este momento difícil, su hermana ha fallecido.
Ahora, además del dolor, Izzy enfrenta una carga económica inesperada.
Su hermana no contaba con un plan funerario, y la familia necesita ayuda para cubrir los gastos de cremación y llevar sus cenizas a Colombia, donde su hijo y sus seres queridos podrán despedirse como merece.
