Dear Friends of the Mobley Family,
Our sweet Margie passed away on Saturday afternoon May 3rd, after battling like the warrior ๐ช๐ผ she is, after 14 days in ICU from a sudden and unexpected complication from her two year battle with pancreatic cancer. She defied the odds from the start after receiving her diagnosis in June of 2023 and INCREDIBLY she still managed to work full-time, run her household and be an amazing mother to her young triplet daughters, attending all of their sporting events, musical performances, trips, and this year's college visits. A TRUE SUPERMOM! ๐ฉท
After her diagnosis, she knew she was terminal and she would often say, “I just want to see my girls graduate from high school.” Sadly, she missed her goal by just 18 days. It should have been a well-deserved month of celebration for this hard working single mom -- celebrating her daughter's Senior Prom, High School Graduation and Mother’s Day this weekend.
Taylor, Brianna and Chloe will graduate May 22nd from Saguaro High School In Scottsdale and unfortunately their graduation party set for this Saturday, May 10th, had to be canceled. ๐ฅฒ
Even though the girls just turned 18 on March 6th and they are "technically" legal adults, they are young women who have the stress of dealing with unimaginable loss, fear and uncertainty after losing their only parent to guide them.
It will take a village of friends and extended family to rally together for Margie’s sake. While in ICU at her bedside Saturday, we promised her we would do everything we could to help and support her girls. She could hear and see us, and we hope she was comforted knowing it was okay to say good-bye so she could be our forever angel ๐ชฝ๐๐ฉท
Unfortunately, Margie did not have life insurance or very much discretionary income or savings. She truly was doing the best she could, all while becoming sicker each day.
All three girls are brilliant and hardworking and will have a bright future. They are taking their AP finals this week and they are all graduating ๐ at the top of their class with 5.0 GPAS and they will start college this fall.
Without any income, we are trying to raise as much money as possible for living expenses to keep them in their home in the short term and the year(s) ahead. The girls will be complete their senior year and go back to their jobs to make money over the summer. It is a lot to deal with on top of grieving their beautiful Mom.
A Celebration of Life for Margie is being planned right now and we will share details soon. The girls would love you to wear something orange ๐งก and bright, which is Margie's favorite color.
I think back when I was 18 and I truly cannot imagine experiencing the loss of your only parent and then deal with some of life’s biggest changes in a 3 month period. Margie was the kindest, most selfless human being and I hope we can come together to honor Margie's Legacy - Taylor, Brianna & Chloe.
If you are willing and able to donate to the Margie Mobley Legacy Fund, ALL proceeds will go directly to the girls.
Thank you and God Bless ๐
Sincerely,
Gina Weber - Margie's long time friend and 27 year business partner โค๏ธ
