Congratulations to the student musicians of the WCHS Chamber Orchestra for their selection as performers at the prestigious Midwest Clinic in December 2026. The WCHS Chamber Orchestra was 1 of 6 high school orchestra chosen NATIONWIDE for this incredible honor! This selection is a true testament to their passionate music making and dedication to not only orchestra but more importantly to each other and the orchestra family.
With this incredible honor comes the responsibility of transporting, lodging, and feeding 35 musicians, chaperones, and transporting orchestra equipment across the US on a bus from Maryland to Chicago! The total cost of the trip will be around $42,000 for our bus, three days accommodations, entrance into the Clinic, and meals while in Chicago. (*** any funds raised over 25k will go to offset the remainder cost of the trip and the orchestra program)
We would love to help out our musicians families as much as possible to help reduce the cost of this trip so that all musicians can be a part of this life changing experience.
