Dear friends,
David left us on Thursday Aug. 15 of this year. His death was tragic and untimely. It was and remains a shock to us all. It seems so unreal to me as I write this message. David touched so many lives and was loved by all who knew him. I'll get right to the point. His wonderful wife Anatar and his surviving father (Dave Sr.) need your help. Anatar and David's closest friends are trying to put together enough money to rent a venue for a celebration of David's life with all of his friends. I don't need to explain that David had many, many friends and my personal expectation is that many hundreds and perhaps more will wish to attend his celebration. Furthermore, there are many financial obligations that will need to be attended to in the coming weeks and months. Won't you please give whatever you can afford to meet these obligations? Myself, Anatar, Dave Sr and his many close friends thank you in advance. Details of the celebration will follow in the next few weeks. Please feel free to share those details when they become available with others. And please also share this appeal.

P.S. i just updated the goal only because I have never done a fundraiser before and don't really know exactly how it all works but several people have suggested that i raise the target. Not sure if a lower target shuts off donations or not (I suspect not). There really is no target goal because it remains unclear what the future needs may be. Anyway, any contributions received will be greatly appreciated by Anatar and Dave Sr.
